Tania Maners is a licensed mental health counselor who works with children, adolescents and families. She is the founder of Veritas Counseling Center, an Orlando-based practice that provides psychotherapy and dispute resolution services. Tania believes in helping others navigate their challenges in order to have healthier, happier lives. A major aspect of Tania’s practice involves dispute resolution services that involves assisting families in navigating their way through the dissolution of marriage by identifying the presenting issues, exploring settlement alternatives and reaching resolutions in order to preserve their families’ financial and emotional assets. Through Tania’s professional qualifications and extensive experience, she is fully prepared to engage in the diversity of issues that arise during the dissolution of marriage and address concerns unique to each family. Tania holds a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and is a trained clinician in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Tania is also trained to be a FEMA Disaster & Emergency responder. Her areas of specialty include: anxiety, mood disorders, high conflict divorce, post-traumatic stress disorder, play therapy and child & adolescent behavioral issues. Tania is also specifically trained in perinatal mood disorders and non-violent crisis intervention. Her professional memberships include: the National Association of Divorce Professionals and the Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida.
